No longer will Union Square take a back seat to those other squares. Sure, there’s no green line, but it’s a cheap cab ride from anywhere in Somerville and Cambridge. Not for nothing, places that take a little extra effort to reach are usually well worth it. So spend $5 bucks for a cab and come check out the new underdogs.
